Andrea Jeremiah (Tamil: ஆண்ட்ரியா ஜெரெமையா born December 21, 1984 in Chennai, India) is a playback singer and film actress who has appeared in Tamil films. Beginning her career singing playback, Andrea has gone on to appear in critically acclaimed films such as Pachaikili Muthucharam and Aayirathil Oruvan, winning praise for her portrayals.
From the age of 10, Andrea was part of a Jackson Five-style troupe called Young Stars which formed the base of her early singing career. She was also a theatre artist in her college, Women's Christian College, and appeared in productions organised by EVAM. She has also launched a company named The Show Must Go On (TSMGO Productions) to promote live art and artistes.

Sridevi's success story continued with hits like Subhash Ghai directed Karma and K. Bhagyaraj's Aakhree Raasta, both released in 1986. The success of the snake fantasy film Nagina in 1986 established Sridevi's reputation as a leading star. The film's snake dance in the climax also showcased her dancing skills under the guidance of choreographer Saroj Khan who went on to deliver many more hit dance numbers with the actress. The next year Sridevi starred in the all-time blockbuster Mr. India with Anil Kapoor. The dance number 'Hawa Hawai' gave her an eponymous nickname.

Tabassum Hashmi was born under the Scorpion sunsign on 4th November 1970 in Hyderabad, India. Her parents are Jamal Hashmi and Rizwana who are divorced. Her mother was a school teacher while her grandparents were professors themselves who after retiring ran a school. Tabu’s older sister is an actress Farah Naaz and her aunt is actress and social activist Shabana Azmi.
Tabu is best-known for acting in artistic, low-budget films that go on to garner more critical appreciation than substantial box office figures. Her appearances in commercially successful films were few, and her parts in these films were small, such as Border (1997), Saajan Chale Sasural (1996), Biwi No.1 and Hum Saath-Saath Hain: We Stand United (1999). Her most notable performances include Maachis (1996), Virasat (1997), Hu Tu Tu (1999), Astitva (2000), Chandni Bar (2001), Maqbool (2003) and Cheeni Kum (2007), 'Toh Baat Pakki'(2O1O).
In 2007, Tabu starred in her first Hollywood film, The Namesake, directed by Mira Nair. The film was a big hit overseas.[19] She also starred in Cheeni Kum in which she played a 34 year-old woman who falls in love with a 64 year-old played by Amitabh Bachchan. Critics were generally positive towards the film; Taran Adarsh said, "Tabu stands on her feet despite a formidable co-star's domineering presence. She's excellent."[20] Though the film did not do as well domestically, it performed well overseas, especially in UK and USA.

Additi Gupta did her dream debut in Balaji Telefilms show Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil opposite TV heartthrob Harshad Chopra when she was just 19 years old. Her hometown is Pune and she always wanted to be a fashion designer, but things took a turn and she was chosen to play the main lead.

Additi's name wasn't spelled Additi, but Aditi, but due to Ekta's belief in numerology, an extra D was added to her name. Zubeida Begum Dhanrajgir was an Indian movie actress, who was the First Talkie Actress of India, as she enacted in first Indian talkie Alam Ara released in 1931.Her credits involve early hits like Devdas released in 1937, and played the lead role in Sagar Movietone's first talkie, Meri Jaan.
Zubeida was one of Indian cinema's earliest super actress and among the few ladies who entered movies at a time when it wasn't aknowledged an appropriate profession for girls from respectable parivaars. Born in Surat, Zubeida was a sizzling beautiful princess, the daughter of the Nawab of Sachin and Fatima Begum.
In 1925, Zubeida had nine releases including Kala Chor, Devdasi, Desh Ka Dushman respectively. A year later she featured in her mother's movie, titled Bulbul-e-Parista. In the year 1927, she acted in films like Laila Majnu, Nanand Bhojai, and Naval Gandhi 's Sacrifice which were very successful films at this time.
Zubeida starred in a bunch of silent movies too before India's first talkie 'Alam Ara’ proved to be the turning point in her acting career and was her biggest success at the box office. In 1934 she set up Mahalakshmi Movietone with Nanubhai Vakil and had another couple of box-office hits in 'Gul-e-Sonobar' and 'Rasik-e-Laila'. The actress continued to feature in one or two flicks a year till 1949. 'Nirdosh Abla' was her last movie.

Meera Jasmin - Biography Meera Jasmine was born on Feb.15, 1984 in Kuttappuzha, Thiruvalla in Kerala. Born as Jasmine Mary Joseph to Joseph and Aleyamma, the Marthomite by birth completed her schooling in Mar Thoma Residential School, Thiruvalla.
Meera made her debut in the Malayalam film Soothradharan in 2001 directed by Lohitha Das. Her debut film bombed at the box office, but that did not affect her career. She has starred in a dozen Malayalam films in her six-year career and the movies is made on home turf is different from the films made in other languages. After her foray into other language films her presence in Malayalam films has been limited. For the last three years, Meera was doing one Malayalam film each year. Calcutta News in 2007, Rasathanthram in 2006, Achuvinte Amma in 2005 and Perumazhakkalam in 2004. Her role in Perumazhakkalam won her Vanitha-Chandrika Award. Her performance in Achuvinte Amma won her Filmfare and Lux-Asianet Film Award for best actress. All her Malayalam films were noticed for different reasons. She was repeatedly casted by same directors in their movies. Her debut Soothradharan was directed by her mentor Lohitha Das and he completed a hat-trick by casting her in Kasthooriman and Chakram. Her performance in Kasthooriman selected her for Lux-Asianet Film Award for Best Actress. Lohitha Das never repeated heroines in his earlier films. In Bhoothakkannadi Sreelakshmi was the heroine, Divya Unni played the female lead in Karunyam and in Kanmadam Manju Warrier played the heroine role. Meera played female leads in three Kamal directed films Gramaphone, Swapnakoodu and Perumazhakkalam. Sathyan Anthikkad casted Meera as a heroine in his earlier films Achuvinte Amma and Rasathanthram. Meera played a boy's role in the first half of Rasathanthram and it was noticed by her first screen appearance with Mohanlal. Sathyan completed hat-trick by repeatedly casting Meera as a heroine in latest film Vinodhayathra. Although Meera has appeared four times opposite Dilip, none of their films became a box office hit. But Sathyan Anthikad's latest Vinodhayathra, where Meera played Dilip's female lead, was a success. In Paadam Onnu Oru Vilapam directed by veteran TV Chandran, Meera fetched the prestigious National Best Actress Award. She portrayed a 15 year old Muslim girl Shahina and won the nations greatest recognition of an actress at the age of 20 by defeating experienced and efficient contenders. She also won the Filmfare Award, Mathrubhumi-Medimix Award and Lux-Asianet Film Award for best actress for her portrayal of Shahina in Paadam Onnu Oru Vilaapam.
Meera's Tamil film entry made her a well-known star in the South. The success of Tamil films Run and Bala in 2002 give her the chance to work with popular actors of the Tamil industry. She won the Filmfare Best Female debut actress award for Run. The success of the films lead her to work with famed directors like Mani Ratnam's Aayudha Ezhuthu and SS Stanley's Mercury Pookkal. Meera has acted in more than ten Tamil films. Her recent Tamil film Parattai Engira Azhagu Sundaram, with Dhanush as her male lead was a hit. In her forthcoming film Nepali, she is the love interest of Bharath.
Meera Jasmine became famous in Telugu industry with her first film (Dubbed from Tamil) "Run". She has not only showed her presence in the Telugu films in 2004 with Ammayi Bagundi and Gudumba Shankar but also entered Kannada cinema by co-starring with Puneet Rajkumar in Mourya. Her latest Kannada film Arrasu is also a hit. Meera's biggest Telugu hit was Bhadra with Ravi Teja in the male lead.
